Description |
This course is a history of the Christian Church within its larger historical and societal context. Emphasis will be given to the study of the rise of the early church within its Greco-Roman and Jewish worlds. We will explore the merging and diverging of these worlds to the foundations of the European nation states. This course will trace the events that occurred, the people involved, and the ongoing effects. |
